- I can't speak for anyone else. But I can tell you why I write demos. I
- have a job as a programmer. And I get to spend 12 to 14 hours a day working on
- it. But I still bome home and play around with the demo stuff that I am doing.
- The reason for me is simply freedom. At work I have to do it the bosses way or
- even just the "standard" way. This gets a little old to me. But with the demo I
- can do it my way. Even if "my" way is to go right to the bare metal and bang on
- the hardware!

- someelse saying "You can't do that because..."
