  14.     I have a very similar tale to tell.  I recently became and IRC
  15.  operator (but I am still mostly human). I went to #twilight_zone to ask a 
  16.  simple question about #HACK warnings.  Now of the 3 people who answered me,
  17.  I got 2 stupid responses and one good one. One of the responses was a command
  18.  whoi would have auto-killed me apon receiving a HACK, and this is from someone
  19.  who is responisble for the entire US IRC routing. The other suggestion was to 
  20.  SQUIT the server of the HACKing person. Now, I understand having some fun,
  21.  hell when I have spare time I enjoy fooling around. BUT , when someone asks me
  22.  a question about something I know (especially if the question is asked nicely,
  23.  which mine was) I get serious and try to help the person out. The majority of
  24.  folks in #twilight_zone are so deep in their own superiority over other mere
  25.  _HUMAN_ IRC people that they love to be arrogant little gods.

  27.     Old time IRC operators: Believe it or not you are not gods. Just 
  28.  becuase we all can not write a new server code does not mean we exist to be
  29.  played with.  Your attitude is yet another reason why IRC is starting its
  30.  fast decline to hell.  Grow up and act like human beings.
