- We are using VMS 5.5-2 and UCX 1.3C. (Yes, as soon as the CD-ROM
- Distribution for September comes out, we will be using 2.0.)
-
- We want to set up FTP so that people can log into a guest account, just
- like the UNIX sites. People expect to log into "anonymous" and enter the
- password with their e-mail address.
-
- We have an account ANONYMOUS with /NOPASSWORD that we created, and we
- prevent the user from moving anywhere but the directory tree for anonymous
- files, but is that consistent? No.
-
- We understand that the FTP log file will have the remote host and user that
- initiated the transfer, but we would like to be more consistant with other
- sites.
-
- Anybody have any ideas? E-mail or post at your leisure.
