- I've installed UCX 2.0 (aka DEC TCP/IP) on my system and cannot get outward
- mail configured properly. Telnet/FTP/incomming SMTP works fine. The
- name (bind) resolver is working correctly.
-
- Whenever I try to post mail off system I basically end up with a
- situation in which the STMP server symbiont queue dies a horrible death.
-
- I get OPCOM messages complaining of problems with mailboxes, ultimately
- leading to an access violation in the symbiont while in module
- smtp$do_task. The log files are not otherwise very helpful.
-
- I don't have any records loaded for routing (MX_records), so I'm wondering
- if this is where things are amiss. I have RTFMs, but I can't say that
- I've really integrated all the material in a useful fashion in my brain yet.
-
- CSC/DSIN has not be able to help or reproduce the problem, so I was
- wondering if anyone has seen/cured anything similiar.
