  13. I hope this is the correct news group for this problem.

  15. My group has just bought some data that came on IBM tapes.
  16. The only tape drives that are around are attached to a 
  17. DEC system. The tape contain labeled file (?), and when sysop
  18. tried to read these files in the label information also
  19. got in, I do not have enough information to strip out the
  20. label info. I have been given to understand that reading the
  21. IBM tapes on main frame is a regular affair and that some
  22. option should be used while reading/mounting the tapes.
