- I hope this is the correct news group for this problem.

- My group has just bought some data that came on IBM tapes.
- The only tape drives that are around are attached to a
- DEC system. The tape contain labeled file (?), and when sysop
- tried to read these files in the label information also
- got in, I do not have enough information to strip out the
- label info. I have been given to understand that reading the
- IBM tapes on main frame is a regular affair and that some
- option should be used while reading/mounting the tapes.
