  33. paging over the ethernet, compared to paging from a local disk.

  35. Theory is in complete agreement with careful experimentation on this point.

  37. It is easy to tune your LAVC sattelites to minimize or even eliminate paging
  38. activity.  If you cannot eliminate paging, you get better peformance from a
  39. local paging disk, than from paging across the ethernet.  If you have to buy
  40. hardware to improve performance, your best bet is a memory upgrade.
