  14. The Triangle Free-Net User Interface Committee will hold its first
  15. meeting on Tuesday, September 1, at 6:00pm at the Picadilly Cafeteria
  16. in South Square Mall in Durham. Everyone is invited.
  17.  
  18. The User Interface Committee was formed at the first general Triangle
  19. Free-Net meeting in order to address these and other issues:
  20.  
  21.   -  Evaluate existing systems
  22.   -  Follow city model?
  23.   -  Design main menu
  24.   -  Determine easy interface for new users and good help facilities
  25.   -  Design disclaimer
  26.   -  Determine policies for posting and removing messages--any access
  27.        restrictions?
  28.   -  Plan consistent menus and naming schemes (for example, for bulletin
  29.        boards and ask-an-expert boards)
  30.   -  Plan acknowledgements for contributors
  31.   -  Build prototype
  32.   -  Evaluate and redesign
  33.
