- You apply to the North American Applied Philosophy Assocation.

- The kind of philosophy that you get a degree for is "Pure Philosophy".
- We don't think much of it, because it devotes too much time to asking
- questions, and not enough time to finding answers. The goal of
- Applied Philosophy is to come up with answers.

- If you'd like to learn more, I'd recommend John Kennedy Toole's novel,
- "A Confederacy of Dunces". Two of the characters (Ignatius J. Reilly
- and Myra Minkoff) are role-models for Applied Philosophers everywhere.
