- I know many outstanding researchers who are medical doctors. I know
- many terrible researchers who are medical doctors. I know many
- outstanding researchers who are medical doctors. I know very few
- outstanding researchers who are outstanding medical doctors.
-
- In my experience, depending on the research, most persons with a MD
- will be outstanding in research or in practice, but rarely both. But
- that depends on the field and the area of research.
