  33. I think that this sub-thread is distracting us from the main issue,
  34. becasue it deals too much with personality charactrisics of yours. I
  35. dont know you personally, and I certainly dont know anything about the
  36. specific cases which you approved/disapproved for tenure. What I am 
  37. arguing is that trashing scientific careers of junior faculty for any
  38. reason other then quality of teaching/research is wrong and goes 
  39. against the goals of a university.

  42. one. I did not realize that it might distract us that much.
