- The situation is a little different in the biological sciences: there's usually
- been alot of wetlab work to go around, and a Project Investigator (i.e., head
- professor) usually puts his/her name at the end of a long list of contributors,
- and usually to aid in the acceptance of the work for publication (especially
- when a lot of the prior names have been published, but in other journals).
