- 8.4V NiCads are considered "true 9V" batteries; you are correct about
- each cell=1.2V.

- FWIW: I bought some of these 8.4V at the Price Club. Had no idea they
- were the "true 9V" version. They are made by Saft. Interesting what
- you can get at Price Club sometimes... (how many got their Macintosh
- PowerBook 100's there? :-)
