- I need to determine how much some particular electronic is costing me to run.
- For the sake of example, I need to know the cost of running something consuming
- 100 watts, all day long, all month long. I know the cost the power company
- charges per kilowatt-hour. Can someone provide an equation to convert the
- equipment's power rating to kilowatt-hours?
-
- Simply using:
-
- (power_rating/1000) * hours_used * days_used
-
- does not work out correctly (or so it seems). Help? :-) Thanks
