- As far as I know nobody's taking legal action, but the winds are blowing
- that way. The problem is that cadmium is a toxic waste. The most likely
- long-term solution is that nicads will be phased out in favor of gel-cell
- batteries (which are basically lead-acid) or nickel-hydrogen batteries.
