  22. johnson space center is sending up a GAS(see below) shuttle experiment
  23. in '93.  the purpose of the GAS project is to launch 6 different size 
  24. spheres in order to calibrate ground radar so that 
  25. "space junk" can be monitored.  at this point, i think the
  26. plan is just monitor the stuff so the shuttle can steer clear.

  28. GAS (Get Away Special) is a project by NASA which allows private
  29. citizens to rent a GAS canister to perform experiments in space.
