- I have seen a thin wire used to cut the seal between the winshield and the
- frame. Essentially it was a steel wire that was poked through a small gap
- made into the gasket material. The ends where then attached to wooden handles
- and the repairman and a helper merely pulled the wire around the perimeter of
- the windshield. They then lifted the now "separated" glass from the frame. POC
