  15. I have seen a thin wire used to cut the seal between the winshield and the
  16. frame. Essentially it was a steel wire that was poked through a small gap 
  17. made into the gasket material. The ends where then attached to wooden handles
  18. and the repairman and a helper merely pulled the wire around the perimeter of
  19. the windshield. They then lifted the now "separated" glass from the frame. POC
