  16.   I recently purchased a 1984 Mercedes 190E (from a relative)
  17. and its started having problems starting and idling.  Most
  18. of the time it starts up and runs great but occasionally it
  19. starts and dies, starts and dies, starts and dies ... about,
  20. say, ten times and when it finally does get going the idle
  21. is too low to keep it running so I have to drive with both
  22. feet.  Anybody have any hints or clues?
