- Sounds like they may be using tetraethyl iron. Works almost as good
- as TEL but without special scavengers, it does just what you're seeing.

- Easy. Good old fashioned toluene. At about $1.60 a gallon in 50 gallon
- lots (recent quotes) and at a rate of about a quart per tank for about
- 3 or 4 points octane boost, it's about a cheap as you can get and no
- fouling.
