  24. I'd call Helm, Inc. and order the official factory manuals for your
  25. car/engine. I just ordered a set for my 92 Chevy S-10. Wow. For
  26. $43 I was expecting something like those 8x10 Chilton manuals
  27. you see at K-mart. Instead I get 3 books the size of the Chicago
  28. yellow pages. One's a chasis service manual, one's a unit repair
  29. manual (engine, transmission, etc) and one's a set of electrical
  30. prints. They threw in a listing of all available service bullitens
  31. at no charge, after I asked about those.

  33. The number was in my owner's manual. Apparently GM uses them to publish
  34. all their books. If you can't find the 800 number, try calling them
  35. at +1 313 883-1430.

  37. Oh, the books contain very complete troubleshooting procedures...
