- Since the head is alu, you can't use heat effectively. Apply more
- liquid wrench, or if you can find it Kroil, then continue with
- vibration for a long time, i.e. tapping with a light hammer for 200
- strokes or more. Then use a vise grip pliers with SHARP teeth to get a
- good grip on the stub and wiggle until it either gets loose or breaks.

- When it breaks flush, drill it out in two passes, first with a small
- drill (3/32" or so) and then with the proper size for retapping.
- Retap or use a thread chaser as appropriate. Don't bother with the
- Easy-outs.

- Although you clearly don't want to have get to the second part of this
- procedure, it really helps to be prepared for it. Get your drill, bit
- and tap ready and don't be afraid to use it.
