  17. I have a 1982 with about 210000 miles on it and the following are the only
  18. engine related parts that I have changed.

  20.     Water pump
  21.     Oil pump seals twice
  22.     Front crank seal
  23.     Oil pressure sending unit
  24.     Some emission part
  25.  
  26.     I still have the orginal Y-pipe which amazes me given all the problems
  27.     people have had with them.

  29. A close friend who is a Subaru shop foreman tells me to avoid
  30. the '85 (especially) and the '86 models as '85 was the first year of the OHC.
