- I have a 1982 with about 210000 miles on it and the following are the only
- engine related parts that I have changed.
-
- Water pump
- Oil pump seals twice
- Front crank seal
- Oil pressure sending unit
- Some emission part
-
- I still have the orginal Y-pipe which amazes me given all the problems
- people have had with them.
-
- A close friend who is a Subaru shop foreman tells me to avoid
- the '85 (especially) and the '86 models as '85 was the first year of the OHC.
