  23. 1st car-67 ford falcon--164,000 miles--no known engine work
  24. 2nd car-70 chevy impala- 145,000 miles--bad cam, several cyl. 
  25. dead...still ran though:>
  26. 3rd car-73 plymouth fury I ex new jersey state police investigators 
  27. car--135,000 worked great, sold it
  28. 4th car--74 datsun 260z--loads of trouble, but the basic engine was 
  29. fine--sold at ~125,000
  30. 5th car-79 honda civic cvcc--needed head job at 50k, needed overhaul 
  31. at 110,000 wore out at 130,000
  32. 6th car-vw type 3 squareback--needed heads because the valves were 
  33. burnt, blew trans after 1 year no clutch 150,000
  34. 7th car-77 vw scirrocco- crashed it but no engine trouble
  35. 8th car-79 vw dasher gas--best car I ever owned--170,000 miles and 
  36. the sherriff took it to satisfy a lein--I was gonna take the oil 
  37. filter off and seize it but could not do it.
  38. 9th car-78 ford fiesta-150,000 or so--it just got real ratty and 
  39. I did not want to spend money on it because my sister gave me the 
  40. next car--no engine trouble though
  41. 10 car-now-80mercury zepher-103,000 miles on it engine is ok

  43. what is common here--I drive fast--70-80
  44. I cahnge oil with castrol or valvolene and a name brand(fram, 
  45. motorcraft, a/c,purolator, lazorlite, or mann filter every time--
  46.  
  47. I use 20-50 oil most of the time
  48. almost no engine trouble--all my cars are basicly good cars that 
  49. were in ok shape when I bought em(all are used) and were taken care 
  50. of but run hard...the only one that was no good was the honda...little 
  51. piece of shit...the fiesta about the same model year as the honda 
  52. was 100% better
  53. Just take care'of a good car and it will care for ya... 
  54. remeber kaess' rules
  55. 1)6 is better then 4
  56. 2)fi is better then carb
  57. 3)electronic ign is better then points
  58. 4)no turbo is better then turbo
  59. 5)CHANGE THE OIL AND THE AIR FILTERS
