- Actually, I meant six months for the initial wait. Maybe three would do. My
- logic has been that if a magazine keeps it for more than six weeks, they might
- buy it, but once it's been gone six months it's been buried. Normally I get
- responses before three months has gone by, but I have had a few things
- disapear. I don't think it profits a writer to badger an editor immediately at
- the time one would expect a response.

- BTW don't trust stated response times, they are policy not fact. I recommend a
- magazine called PULPHOUSE REPORT (which I'm sure Chuq knows) for up to date
- market listings in SF and good response time statistics.
