  18. Yes, it sucks. Syd is more interested with the raw mechanics of scripting, 
  19. and he goes about it very mechanically, and wrongly I might add. The whole 
  20. idea of plot-points is outdated and overly rigid.
  21.     A much better book to get and read is "Making A Good Script Great" 
  22. by Linda Seger. She knows her stuff, and her ideas are very up to date.
