  20. Fackler of the would ballistics laboratory, Evan Marshal of the Detroit
  21. PD, and the FBI statistics all confirm the lack of reliability of small
  22. calibre weapons for reliable defense.  One does not need to kill in the
  23. night to have some familiarity with the subject.

  34. was a famous Miami gunfight, not a court case).

  52. Individual differences in response are (a) magnitude & type of effect,
  53. and (b) time.  The difficulty is stopping agression INSTANTLY, since it
  54. takes a mere fraction of a second to complete a violent act of agression.

  63. Shot placement is the most important factor, large gun or small.  "Allowing
  64. yourself to shake" can result in stray bullets and unintented collateral
