- Now wait a minute. A few days a ago someone in California sent a package
- to our lab via FEDEX overnight. It's some delicate optics costing over
- $30,000. The package had some shockwatch monitors on it (some capsules
- liquids in them, will turn red under extreme force, about 50 g, I was told).
- When the package showed up, both shockwatches turned red, with a big dent on
- the outside. When we opened up the package, even though the piece was very
- well padded, a mirror was shattered.
-
- The sadder thing is, the package was not insured, FEDEX said they would give
- us $100 if we want.
