  18. Well, if you *really* don't plan on ever recording, look into play only
  19. machines, they are somewhat cheaper for comparable playback quality.  If you
  20. want record capability I recommend JVC.  I had one for 11 years with no
  21. problems whatsoever, until I dropped it 4 feet, that is.  I bought a JVC
  22. HR-D91OU this week to replace it.  It's a discontinued model still available
  23. in some stores.  I paid $390 for 4-head HI-FI sound, and I like it a lot so
  24. far.
