  16.           The C.A.U.S.E. Journal, Cultural Alliance for Unity and
  17.           Social Equality, is a new quarterly publication from the
  18.           students at Springfield College, School of Human Services in
  19.           Springfield, MA and Manchester, NH.
  20.  
  21.           Through the use of this journal, we hope to reinforce the
  22.           root-cause philosophy by offering some of the best samples
  23.           of writing and thoughts that the student body has to offer.
  24.            We hope these writings will serve as a guide and
  25.           inspiration in addressing root-cause not only in other
  26.           student's studies, but also in the field of human services
  27.           that they may work in.

  29.           The problem of root-cause analysis is a national problem and
  30.           is profound.  The general public is easily dupes by
  31.           politicians and the media.  They readily accept what they
  32.           hear and see without question.  Those in positions of power
  33.           use this to their full advantage to continue the oppression
  34.           of many peoples.  People are not encouraged to analyze or
  35.           criticize their government.  In fact, our society is
  36.           encouraged to blame victims of social injustice and
  37.           inequality.  We hope that this journal will provide you with
  38.           some help in your quest to discover the truth whatever it
  39.           may be.
