- Not for long. Once the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade is signed,
- you'll have all the same horrors in your patent law that we have in ours,
- plus additional ones, thanks to the Bush Administration figuring out that
- treaties can be a sneaky way to legislate a huge expansion of
- "intellectual property rights". Fortunately it's being held up by a
- battle on agricultural subsidies, so it isn't international law yet.
