  12. I would like to see a target `uninstall' in GNU Makefiles, to undo
  13. an install target.  Removing a package from your machine would then
  14. be as easy as installing it.  (e.g. uninstall gcc-1.xx, before
  15. installing gcc-2.x).  Should this be included in the GNU Coding
  16. Standards paper?
