  13. Okay, so I have a question or two with emacs. 
  14.    First of all, Emacs often uses the ctrl-s key in it's various
  15. commands. However, there is a problem with this, because it suspends
  16. data flow over my modem to the computer host. (ctrl-q continues this of
  17. course.) I found one solution using a program called "screen" which lets
  18. you send "^a s" to send teh ctrl character "ctrl-s", but this is rather
  19. clumsy. How can I (manipulating sttys perhaps?) accomadate this, so that
  20. ctrl-s's wonderful suspend-flow feature is disabled? I can  disable
  21. ctrl-z with
  22. stty susp def (?) , but I can't figure it out for ctrl-s... Any thoughts
  23. would be welcomed with great enthusiasm.
  24.    Also, with gnus, I can't seem to figure out how to designate a specific
  25. .newsrc, OR a specific NNTPSERVER. If you could help me with this I would
  26. be most appreciative. Can I have two *elc files? One for NNTPSERVER #1,
  27. and .newsrc #1, and one for NNTPSERVER #2, and .newsrc #2?
  28.    Any thoughts are welcomed.
