  12. I need to make a 'Panel Text Field' highlighted. I.e., selected. The
  13. environment I am using is OpenWindows 2 and XView. Could someone point me
  14. to some sample code to do this? If I have to fake mouse events to a text
  15. field that is okay with me, but I really don't want to re-invent this if I
  16. don't have to. I have a copy of the O'Reilly XView Manual, which describes
  17. how to do this with text sub-windows, but that's not what I want. I know
  18. that I can set the PANEL_CARET_ITEM, but that's just too subtle for the
  19. user audience for the application I work on.

  21. If this is solved simply in OpenWindows 3, I might just use that ...
