- folks,
-
- my department uses the mailtool rather heavily. one of its features
- is that words are automatically wrapped around, eliminating the need
- to insert returns.
-
- alas, this leads to lines >72 characters long. our printers enjoy
- chopping off anything longer than 72 characters. result - a beginning of
- a thought with no end....
-
- thus here is my question. is it possible for a user to compose an
- email and prior to sending it off, invoke a command which will insert
- returns when needed? i have already written that command (called
- foldMail), but so far haven't figured out how to invoke it while
- *in* the composition window of mailtool. more generally, is it
- possbile to spawn a subshell which operates on composeWindow
- content prior to delivery?
-
- thanx in advance,
-
