  11. We need to set up a scenario which emulates the text-cutting features of
  12. DDE-style applications. i.e. we need to grab areas of text from a window and
  13. use this as input to another process.

  15. Now, ideally, I'd like to be able to use a standard shelltool or commandtool
  16. (or even xterm), and grab information from these windows.
  17.  
  18. Any pointers would be appreciated.  Perhaps the use of Sun's CCIMM data
  19. exchange protocol(??).
