- At my new place of work, Xenix is running on many STAND-ALONE PC's.
- Can anyone give me ANY good reason why they shouldn't be networked? I
- seem to have a problem with a multi-user operating system running on
- standalone machines. Seems to me you defeat the purpose of
- "multi-user".
-
- The administration says they will never go with DOS or Novell. They
- want to keep the multi-user OS. I don't understand WHY when only one
- person can access the machine at one time. Any ideas? (yes, I'm
- going to ask the administration, but I don't start until Sept. 18. I
- want to gather as much info about Xenix before then)
