- I've just accepted a job which will require me to learn system
- administration skills under SCO Xenix. The company has been strapped
- for cash for a few years now and is currently working on 8088-80286
- PC's running Xenix. I believe they are up to the current release of
- Xenix, whatever that is.
-
- I would like to know where to start in learning Xenix
- adminsitration. In my current job, I was about to get started on
- managing a Sun 630MP. So I bought "The Unix System Administration
- Handbook" which I think will be of great help even with Xenix. What
- else can I get hold of to get myself up to speed? They have the
- complete manual set as far as I could tell so I know I should dig
- through them. My biggest problem is that my workplace won't have an
- internet connection for some time yet so I'll be pouring over news at
- home during the evenings. Just wondered if there was something out
- there I could take in to work with me. Any suggestions appreciated!
