  27. The GUI Kit supplied by ESIX includes support for both the ATI SVGA
  28. chipset and the 8514/A accelerator. In fact, the card is used internally
  29. within ESIX for its X servers.

  31. Note: ATI last week pre-announced some new products. Look for prices to
  32. drop soon on existing baords, and even-faster 8514/A implementations
  33. to come out. Specifically, I think it's called the Graphics Ultra Pro.
  34. The demo was *quite* impressive. I was told it's register compatible
  35. with existing boards, so no change in drivers should be required (except
  36. that it'll handle more colours at any given resolution).
