- :SCO told me, that there is no way for them to accept bug-reports via e-mail
- :or to do any kind of support via e-mail..
-
- That's funny. The only time I've ever called SCO support was in
- the middle of an installation when I was at a client site and ran
- into unexpected/undocumented problems. They have special support
- for short installation problems (10 minute or less). All my other
- requests for support and bug reports go to support@sco.com.
-
- :They said: tell it to your distributor or _buy_ support from SCO.
- :I believe, they don't listen to their customers anymore.
- :SAD THING, IMHO.
-
- I find exactly the opposite here in the U.S. SCO has at least
- two people assigned to monitor traffic on the net, at least the
- biz.sco newsgroups, and there are quite a few SCO employees who
- monitor it on their own. These people frequently post answers to
- questions, IT Scripts, and get into net.discussions on various
- SCO related topics. The biz.sco newsgroups are also distributed
- via a mailing list to those who don't have news access. SCO has
- a far greater presence on the net than say, Interactive (SunSoft),
- DELL, USL....
