  25. I would tend to agree. I visited their head office (nice new digs just
  26. north of Toronto, much bigger than their old location) and they seem to
  27. be getting their act together. The recent expansion also suggests that
  28. they're doing something right...

  30. Technical support staff is being beefed up, they say, and they're
  31. painfully aware of their Usenet reputation. More people have been hired
  32. for this task.

  34. Future plans for Consensys include a transition from R4.0.4 to Desting
  35. (R4.2), and the introduction of a software-based RAID facility that will
  36. work with existing hard disk and SCSI drivers (ie, no special hardware
  37. besides the conventional adaptors and raw drives). They plan to announce a
  38. number of new products at UNIXExpo in New York.

  44. Without the super deal they had before, Consensys has to compete with
  45. the others now on features, not price. Thay may have a rough road, but I
  46. wouldn't count them out.
