  19. The first thing I did, and I just installed 2.2 this last week, was to load
  20. the optional sources then rebuild cnews, nn and rn to not use nntp. This was
  21. also a convenient time to remove the "dell.com" references from various 
  22. control files and .h files.

  24. Hey Dell, how about including a simple cookbook set of instructions for getting 
  25. rid of the Dell specific stuff. Many of us Dell users have very simple setups
  26. where things like nntp are unnecessary complications. Without even a simple
  27. README file that details how you set things up (i.e. nntp verses non-nntp), 
  28. it takes a _long_ while to figure out how you've configured things. 
  29. People who've installed these things often over the last however many 
  30. years may not need the help, but those of us relatively new to this stuff 
  31. could benefit a lot!
