  11. First off, I'll assume that I'm simply ignorant about MacTCP's
  12. setup, and that the problem I'm presenting is of that nature.
  13.  
  14. I have MacTCP and I want to operate fetch and othernicities,
  15. but when I open the MacTCP control panel to configure it, all
  16. my options are locked /deselected.  I have clicked on the
  17. "slip" icon but that didn't seem to work either.
  18.  
  19. 1.  What am I doing wrong?
  20. 2.  Wwhy does the SLIP icon appear (I have another MacTCP that
  21. doesn't show the SLIP icon and it worked ), and what is the
  22. difference of having the SLIP icon in the MacTCP control panel?
