- Hello,
-
- Well I loaded A/UX 3.0 onto a small disk and tryed installing the
- DayStar A/UX 2.0 drivers and wound up with an unbootable kernel.
-
- DayStar apparently does offer a close to 50% off upgrade on the equivalent
- PowerCache. (You gotta give back the old PowerCard/Accelerator though).
-
- When I installed the old 020 CPU, I botched the installation and severly
- bent a row of pins, after some effort I was able to get the little devil
- back into the socket, but the machine no longer has any sound! Every thing
- seems to work and I get a happy mac on startup. Any suggestions as to what
- the problem could be?
