  14. I just got A/UX 3.0 and have been trying to decide if I can install
  15. it on my venerable MacII. I have a Daystar 40 mhz "PowerCard" installed
  16. to add a little zip to the old guy.

  18. I just called DayStar and they say that they no longer
  19. manufacture/support the PowerCard! Their latest product is the
  20. "PowerCache" and they do not know if the old A/UX 2.01 PowerCard
  21. drivers will work under A/UX 3.0. They recommend scrapping the
  22. PowerCard and buying a PowerCache (bummer...) for which they have
  23. A/UX drivers.

  25. Question1: Does anybody know if the A/UX 2.0 PowerCard driver works
  26.         under A/UX 3.0?

  28. Question2: Does anybody have any comments about the suitability/performance
  29. of the 520 Fujitsu vs the 535 Maxtor HD's (One salesperson says that
  30. Fujitsu is "noisy" (45 db @1 ft) but the Maxtor is (25 db @ 1ft))?

  32. Question3: The Chip Merchant has 4meg simms with PAL for the MacII
  33. at $109.00, is this a "best buy"?
