- The original poster asked about using SAG as well as some command line
- editing details. Concerning the command editing, look under KSH in
- either the on-line man pages or your nearest hardcopy reference. If
- you're interesting in trying your hand at compiling, pick up zsh. I
- haven't used it but everyone I know that has just raves about it. One
- of these days I'll try it, but for now...
-
- For the sag command, only certain terminals are supported. But there
- are a couple of things that I do to get around the limitation of which
- terminals -- you can put xterm into tek4014 mode and then run sag in
- that window telling it to generate output for a tek4014; that works.
- Another way is to post-process the sag output using something like
- posttek (in /usr/lib/lp/postscript, although there may be a more
- convenient symlink that points to that directory). Posttek will
- convert tektronix plot files into postscript and you can then print'em
- or display'em (assuming you have ghostscript or equivalent
- available).
