- Help needed!
-
- There are serveral xstation 130's connected to an RS6000/550
- file server through ethernet in the department. They
- all work fine until recently when we want to reconfigure
- one of the xstation 130 by using SMIT. SMIT simply
- refuses the reconfiguration. The error message is:
-
- Invalid input to "Page PIXMAPS to fixed disk?"
-
- But in fact, all we have changed is the name for the
- xstation. Net-work-type, hardware-address remain
- the same, the rest of the options are taken as the default
- settings. And we do remember to change the file
- /etc/hosts accordingly.
-
- Can anyone out there help us?
-
- Thanks in advance!
