  13.   Well, I apologize. Apparently I am too paranoid for my own good.
  14. Usually, when I obtain a package, I make it in a temp directory
  15. and run it there (not as root) to make sur eit works before I install
  16. it. I thought that the only thing I needed to take care of was to 
  17. copy the Axe.ad to the /.../app-defaults directory and I would be
  18. able to run it. I asked a lot of questions when it did not work
  19. for me. Apparently, there are others like me, so ... All I had
  20. to do was to make install after the make and the program ran fine.
  21. It depended not only on the Axe.ad file, but also on all of the .help 
  22. files that are included with the package. So, if you were having
  23. the same trouble I did with aXe segmentation faults upon invocation, 
  24. this may be the answer.
