  11. I have a IBM laserprinter 4029 connected to a IBM RS6000/530H workstation.
  12. The printer is 'permanentlt in PPDS mode. However when I want to print a
  13. postscript or hpgl file I have to change the settings on the laser printer
  14. before I run either

  16.     lpr -Pps  test.ps
  17.  
  18. or
  19.  
  20.     lpr -Pgl  test.gl
  21.  
  22. What should I do to make it easy for other guys in my lab who are not
  23. UNIX literate to be able to print a PS or GL or ASCII file whatever
  24. setting the printer is initially set at.

  26. Any ideas or questions for clarification would be appreciated.
