- I have a IBM laserprinter 4029 connected to a IBM RS6000/530H workstation.
- The printer is 'permanentlt in PPDS mode. However when I want to print a
- postscript or hpgl file I have to change the settings on the laser printer
- before I run either
-
- lpr -Pps test.ps
-
- or
-
- lpr -Pgl test.gl
-
- What should I do to make it easy for other guys in my lab who are not
- UNIX literate to be able to print a PS or GL or ASCII file whatever
- setting the printer is initially set at.
-
- Any ideas or questions for clarification would be appreciated.
