  10. Hi,
  11.   Since installing Aix 3.2.2 there's been many problems - but one of the
  12. most serious is the following:
  13.   I get an I/O on /var/tmp when doing vi to a file.  THe only way to resume
  14. working on /var is to reboot the machine.  Everything works fine after
  15. rebooting for a random amount of time and then the problem reoccurs.  It
  16. seemed like a hardware problem - but the IBM technician didn't find anything
  17. when running the diagnostics.  I have the feeling that this might be in
  18. someway a software error.  Has anyone ever had this problem occur?  Please
  19. get back to me if this problem has occurred by you.
