- Hi,
- Since installing Aix 3.2.2 there's been many problems - but one of the
- most serious is the following:
- I get an I/O on /var/tmp when doing vi to a file. THe only way to resume
- working on /var is to reboot the machine. Everything works fine after
- rebooting for a random amount of time and then the problem reoccurs. It
- seemed like a hardware problem - but the IBM technician didn't find anything
- when running the diagnostics. I have the feeling that this might be in
- someway a software error. Has anyone ever had this problem occur? Please
- get back to me if this problem has occurred by you.
