  22. The only reason I go to Radio Shack is they are just at street corner, and
  23. have some better refund policies. For qualities, I haven't experienced any
  24. advantage for the regular price. Some of their sale prices are near those
  25. mail orders but plus tax.

  27. I remember I have bought a 1000HX and want to use a MDA monitor with it.
  28. I have to soldering some 40 lines to convert a PLUS style expansion to
  29. ISA expansion, yeah, I know there are ready to use convertors. And later
  30. tried half a dozen Hercules clone cards to find a proper one that could 
  31. co-exist with the Tandy CGA. They were all running well in nameless clone
  32. computers.

  34. In that case, I have to agree I got a good deal on 1000HX for only $35.00
  35. cause when the store manager showing me how nice it was, the power supply
  36. just got fried. Lately, I got a letter from Texas asking me buying a $69.00
  37. extanded warranty for this baby.
