  17. We've had the same problems - 3 out of 7 of our monitors have totally failed
  18. within the frirst 6 months (luckily we're on Sun maintenance),
  19. and when I came in this morning this very machine had the random horizontal lines
  20. you describe. Bad quality control (cheap components?) on ELC monitors
  21. in general, I guess. We've had no problems with SLCs.
